Mountainview provides dress code shirts to students at cost (this means that we are not making a profit on these shirts – you buy them for the same price we paid for them!). Both Polo and Oxford shirts embroidered with the Mountainview or Eagle logo are available in shades of blue, yellow and white.

NO OTHER SHIRT may be worn at school. If a student chooses to wear an undershirt beneath the dress code shirt, it should not be visible to others. This means it should be tucked in and that the dress code shirt should be buttoned up high enough to cover it.

Students may purchase dress code shirts from the Secondary Office at the following prices:

Polo shirt = Rp. 70.000
Oxford shirt = Rp. 80.000

Students may wear a tie or scarf of any color or pattern to complement their dress-code approved shirts.

  • Single solid color in Black or Tan
  • Must at least touch the knee when standing
  • Standard slacks or jean material (no athletic shorts, sweat pants or pajama pants)
  • Should be worn at the hips (not “sagging”)
  • Should be in good condition with finished edges (no holes or excessive fading)

Students must wear footwear at all times during the school day.

Class or School jackets and sweatshirts are permitted anytime. Students may also choose to wear a jacket, sweater or blazer that is plain (no writing or designs) in a single solid color. The shirt worn underneath must meet dress code on its own.

In addition to the regular dress code, on Fridays students may wear:

  • Full-length jeans of any color (no jean shorts)
  • Mountainview t-shirts and jerseys
  • Batik shirts, skirts, blouses or dresses

Not to be worn during school hours, 7:30 am - 3:15 pm.
Hats may be worn to protect from the sun during PE or other school activity that is primarily in the sun.

Exceptions for head coverings include those worn for religious purposes.

The dress code for P.E. includes a Mountainview T-shirt (available for purchase in the Secondary office) and navy blue or black shorts whose length are no more than one hand-width above the knee.

A teacher will talk with a student if an outfit does not meet the dress code. In most cases, the student will be required to change clothes. Any sweatshirt or jacket worn during the school day that is not dress-code approved will be confiscated in the secondary office until 2:30 pm. An administrator will follow up with the student if the problem is not solved.
