Campus Facilities

Mountainview’s beautiful campus of nearly 14 acres is set among palm trees, bamboo forests, and majestic volcanic mountains.

All Mountainview students share the use of our modern, well-equipped campus and its auditorium, gymnasium/sports complex, outdoor track and soccer field, libraries, computer labs, science lab, and academic buildings with well-furnished classrooms…all of which provide excellent resources for learning.

The elementary and secondary schools are close enough to allow easy sharing of resources and facilities. Both buildings are connected by a covered food pavilion and walkway which allows easy access to both facilities and to the Liles Center, even during rainy season.

The Liles Center auditorium and reception hall is a large building which is used for chapel and other worship services, plays, concerts, art displays, classes, meetings, assemblies, receptions, youth groups and other student gatherings and social events. Also in the spacious building are the music room, dressing rooms, props/set storage, and a modern kitchen used both for events and for cooking classes.

Mountainview students also enjoy our newest major facility: the gymnasium and sports complex, featuring two full-size basketball (and volleyball) courts, a climbing wall and a weight-lifting center. Just beyond the gymnasium is our soccer field and running track.

Mountainview provides other facilities as well to enhance student learning. The elementary and secondary schools each have their own air-conditioned computer lab and library, for example. All computers are equipped with up-to-date software and hardware and are connected to the Internet and the school’s network and printers. Additionally, the secondary school has a well-equipped science lab.

Our boarding students also have fine facilities on campus where they are nurtured by loving Christian dorm parents. Both dorms, Sulawesi (boys) and Sumatra (girls), are conveniently located near school classrooms and the gymnasium. Each of the dorms can comfortably house 16 students in its modern, well-furnished “home away from home.”
