WELCOME TO MCS LIBRARY!

Step into a world of knowledge, imagination, and endless possibilities – welcome to our school library! We are delighted to open our doors to students, teachers, and all members of our school community. Here, amidst the shelves of books and the hushed whispers of stories waiting to be explored, you'll find a haven for learning and discovery.

Our Secondary & Elementary libraries are a treasure trove of literary wonders, with a collection of over 14,000 materials offering a diverse collection of books that cater to every interest, age, and passion. From gripping novels to educational resources, our shelves are carefully curated to inspire and support your intellectual journey.

On a quest for information? Our librarian, Mrs. Magna is here to assist you in navigating the vast sea of knowledge. Whether you're working on a research project or simply seeking a quiet corner to delve into a good book, consider the library your home away from home. Library patrons can access the library catalog from anywhere outside school to check our collections and/or log into their accounts to reserve books. Please see or email Mrs. Magna for the details.

Homeschooling families and MCS community members are welcomed at MCS Libraries. There is a library pass that’s available to purchase. Feel free to email Mrs. Magna at library@mtview.id for more information.

Additionally, we would like to remind all library users, including homeschooling families, to be responsible stewards of our shared resources. Take good care of the materials you borrow, and in the unfortunate event of damage or loss, please be aware that charges for repair or replacement may apply.

The Elementary Library serves students ranging from Kindergarten through Grade 6. To enrich their literary journey, each grade benefits from a dedicated weekly library session conducted by a teacher-librarian. During this designated time, students partake in a tailored library lesson and have the opportunity to check out books for personal reading at home. This structured engagement with the library fosters a love for literature and supports the academic development of students across all grade levels.
